The form has gone,

But his spirit burns on strong.

Its innocence gazes out,

To a world now left without.

The last vibrations of this titan’s gentle feet,

Shall no longer rumble the grounds under Africa’s heat.

With a heavy head and heavier heart,

Mourning comes and morning comes.

A civilization of greed and power,

Has laid rest to one of nature’s best.

But as his memory and spiritual light radiate bright,

In hearts and minds we hold hope as our kind one’s fight,

To stop the growing count of fading lights.
