A WILD LOVE LETTEr II: The Look of love

LOCATION: YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK, USA

Gray Wolves

There was a time when I stood in solitude,

My life seemed unbalanced, a little askew.

Happily now those days have passed,

Those long nights where my spirit’s quest felt o’ so vast.

I could not have conceived to dare behold,

But your soul lured me in and allowed our bond to unfold.

As the rains thunder down from the heavens in sharp descent,

My heart was hit with your view and my pulse felt a rapid ascent.

Memories come of when I prepped the stage,

I had a dance to do, whose success was yours to gauge.

It seemed to work, to spark your interest, leaving me more than a little blessed,

And with those accepting eyes, well, you know the rest.

There was no other, this isn’t a race,

Now that I have you, forever we shall embrace.

It’s an incurable craving more so a necessity,

That I be so close to hear your heart beat,

For me it feels more than heavenly.

I shall dance, I shall play and I shall lay by your side,

Our bones are destined to age together even if there’s no knot we’ve officially tied.
